Alan joined the IPM team in 2004 as Managing Director. His main focus is to help Global Mobility professionals to develop and implement a seamless process for transferring their assignees between countries, ensuring compliance at all times. He is highly experienced in HR at a senior level with HSBC and Thomas Cook, including international and executive compensation for local nationals, expatriates, and third-country nationals.

Where Alan adds real value to our Clients (and what makes IPM very different), is that he creates a culture and connection where IPM become a natural extension to the in-house HR teams. We value the relationships we have with our clients and recruit a team with the same vision and passion to build strong, long-lasting partnerships.

His role as MD is to ensure we provide a flexible outsourced service that delivers cost savings, legal compliance, and peace of mind to Clients. Through continuous improvement of our systems and processes, we ensure your HR team are benefiting from time and cost efficiencies, and receive a very personal and responsive service from our highly competent team of experts. This almost inevitably leads to long-lasting relationships that ensure your company is fully compliant, and your assignees and their families arrive at their new destination relaxed, prepared, and ‘ready to go’.

Gohir recently joined IPM Global Mobility as CEO. He will help lead IPM into its next phase of growth and further enhance the high quality of service afforded to our clients. Prior to this, he worked in investment banking. His previous roles included, working for Goldman Sachs as a managing director in Asia Pacific, having joined in 2009.

Before moving to Asia, Gohir was head of the UK Structured Product Sales and Marketing Group at Citigroup, where he spent five years building the business across Europe. He began his banking career in London with Merrill Lynch, working in the Client Strategies Group to provide structured solutions to financial institutions. Gohir also spearheaded a number of landmark de- risking transactions for UK and European Life companies. In 2000, he joined Deutsche Bank in London, where he was involved in a number of de-risking transactions and helped establish and build a number of banks’ ALM hedging capabilities. Gohir earned an MBA from the London Business School. He is a qualified the accountant and fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

Anna is our Compliance Director, (as well as being a qualified UK Payroll Manager having managed UK and expatriate payroll). She has been with us since 2003, and is affectionately known as our ‘Evil Genius’, because of her attention to detail and diligence in knowing and satisfying the latest mobility legislation.

Anna provides exceptional advice and support to HR Directors. By ensuring consistency, compliance and accuracy in our client’s Global Mobility programmes, Anna demonstrates a genuine understanding of our clients’ needs, and provides pragmatic and valued support in the day-to-day management. She has built long-standing relationships with our clients which helps deliver successful assignments with happy and satisfied assignees.

She is responsible for the operational delivery of services across a number of clients. Anna has an impressive background working in international payroll for over 20 years. 10 years spent working in-house for Nokia, managing their large assignment programme, and the last 12 years with us assisting with all relocation aspects. Anna shows a real passion in delivering services to our clients and gives exceptional support to client teams to ensure they have happy assignees.

Scott is our Strategic expert who has been with us since 1997. He is one of our senior account managers, handling a number of IPM’s largest accounts with assignees in more than 40 countries across the globe!

Scott uses his near 30 years’ experience and know-how in the Global Mobility industry to support clients in the successful and efficient management of their assignment programs. Scott’s main value of working with IPM is that we regard ourselves as your partner, not just a supplier, as this optimises the efficiencies for the business to streamline the process of your assignees

As a strategic expert, Scott has in-depth knowledge and expertise in both the technical and policy issues of international assignment management. He helps clients develop and adopt their GM strategy to meet their corporate objectives. Through working with some of our clients for nearly 20 years standing, he has learnt a true passion about building strong relationships and understanding their needs.

Julie is our Regional Director who joined the team in 2013. She has spent the last 25 plus years specialising in expatriate taxation, working in Aberdeen for over 20 of those years and the last three years with IPM.

JDuring this time, she spent 11 years with one of the Big 4 Global Mobility firms and ran their International Assignment practice in Aberdeen. Julie also spent five years as Global Tax Director with an international managed payroll provider. She has worked with clients who are beginning their global journey, with SMEs and other entrepreneurial enterprises, through to multinational organisations, with large numbers of International Assignees and well developed global mobility programmes.

With IPM, Julie is supported by an impressive team with decades of experience in the expatriate tax arena, as well as with international payroll and global mobility backgrounds. All of this combines to ensure that IPM offers, and delivers, a first rate assignment management solution. As a result, we develop long and successful working relationships with our clients.

We employ professionals who can match their technical knowledge with a real passion and natural ability to build friendly relationships with clients, HR teams and assignees.
